Organic cultivation
An agricultural product or food may only be called organic if the production process complies with legal requirements. Because, in addition to conventionally grown legumes, Termont & Thomaes BV processes organically grown legumes, we have the Skal quality mark. Every company within the EU that produces, processes, packs, imports, trades or stores organic products must be Skal certified, so that the entire chain is regulated.
Skal certificate
In order to retain the Skal certificate, we must always meet all the conditions. That is why an annual check is carried out. In addition to a usual tour of our company and an explanation of who we are and what we do, we discuss our entry check, traceability and risk analysis and we provide insight into our administration.
